Tools

The assistant picks which tool to call. The list below helps if you want to know what it can do or you build your own client. Every tool only reads data.

TOOLlist_metricsPublic

Lists every available metric, with the name to pass to get_metric_datapoints.

Parameters

No parameters.

Returns

For each metric: name, Romanian label, category, unit, description, sources, default aggregation, supported rolling sums and whether it is national only. Plus the rules for interpreting the data.
TOOLlist_regionsPublic

Lists every region: the country, zones and counties.

Returns

For each region: slug, Romanian name, type and whether it has asking prices, with the city they describe (București for Ilfov).
TOOLget_metric_datapointsPublic

Returns one metric for one region over time, with year-over-year and period-over-period changes. Macroeconomic metrics always come for Romania.

Parameters

metric_namestringrequired
Metric name, from list_metrics.

Region slug, from list_regions: romania for the whole country or a county, for example bucuresti, cluj, iasi.

Aggregation interval: month, quarter, half or year.

Returns

The metric, region, unit, sources and values by period, plus source_url, the address of the same data on Minside.
TOOLcalculate_inflation_adjusted_pricePublic

Adjusts a past property price for inflation (the IPC index from INS) and shows how the same price would have moved with the average net wage and with asking prices per m² in the county. It is not a valuation.

Parameters

price_eurnumberrequired
The past price, in euros.
monthstringrequired
The month the price was set, YYYY-MM, before the latest published IPC month.
region_namestringrequired
County slug from list_regions, or romania. Used for the wage and asking-price comparisons.

Returns

The inflation-adjusted price and cumulative inflation up to the latest published month, plus the growth and adjusted price by wages and by apartment asking prices (overall, new, old), with the region used, and source_url, the calculator's address on Minside.
TOOLcalculate_rental_yieldPublic

Calculates the gross rental yield and payback period of a buy-to-let home from its purchase price and monthly rent. Gross figures, without taxes, maintenance or financing.

Returns

TOOLget_mortgage_termsMinside account

Returns the current mortgage rates and conditions of each bank. Only each bank's most recent version is ever returned.

Parameters

banksstring[]optional
Bank ids. When omitted, every bank is returned. Possible values: banca_transilvania (Banca Transilvania), bcr (BCR), brd (BRD), ing (ING), raiffeisen (Raiffeisen Bank), unicredit (UniCredit Bank), cec (CEC Bank), exim (Exim Banca Românească), garanti (Garanti BBVA), libra (Libra Internet Bank), intesa (Intesa Sanpaolo), procredit (ProCredit Bank), patria (Patria Bank), vista (Vista Bank), nexent (Nexent Bank).

Returns

For each bank: id, name, website, the date they apply from (valid_from) and the conditions as Romanian markdown: products with their rates, then the general conditions.
